Christine M. Boutin has joined the Firm’s Trusts and Estates Team. According to Allen J. Falke,
practice group leader of the Firm’s Trusts and Estates Group, “Christine is a highly-skilled trust
and estates attorney. She is a welcomed addition to our Team. Christine’s expertise with special
needs trusts broadens the services we can offer to our clients.” Says Boutin, “I am pleased to join

Boutin works with elder clients to execute estate planning documents designed to provide
advance asset protection in the event of future nursing home admission and also prepares and
submits MassHealth applications once nursing home admission is necessary. She represents
families in court to obtain guardianship and conservatorship of disabled individuals who are
unable to able to make personal, financial, or medical decisions and also offers special needs
trust planning for families with disabled children. She additionally practices probate law and
assists Personal Representatives through the estate administration process.

Prior to joining Mirick O’Connell, Boutin was an Officer at Fletcher Tilton.

Attorney Boutin was selected as one of Boston magazine’s Top Trusts and Estates Lawyers in
2021.

Attorney Boutin received her B.A. from Smith College and her J.D. from New England School
of Law.
