Moose On I-190: State Police Warn To Expect Closures
State troopers were trying to contain a moose near I-190 on Saturday morning just north of Worcester.
STERLING, MA — Another moose was on the loose near Worcester on Saturday morning, and this time the animal was forcing police to close a major highway.
State troopers and Massachusetts Environmental Police were trying to contain the moose along I-190 in Sterling. Police warned to expect possible closures of the road because the moose was getting too close to the highway.

So far this fall, three moose have wandered into Worcester. One had to be euthanized after it was hit by a car, but the other two were safely removed and relocated far outside the city.
