More than 20 Volunteers Clean Up Dodge Park in Worcester
World Mission Society Church of God Joins the Worcester Tree Initiative at for a volunteer clean up at Dodge Park
WORCESTER, MA–Today more than 20 volunteers of the World Mission Society Church of God joined the Worcester Tree Initiative and community members to prepare Dodge Park for spring through multiple projects, including mulching trees and pathways, collecting trash, and pulling weeds. The cleanup was part of the Church of God’s national and international environmental protection efforts. To date, the Church of God has carried out more than 3,560 worldwide cleanup.
“A lot of really great work got done here. I really appreciate it.” said Ruth Seward, Director of the Worcester Tree Initiative. She and the volunteers were out at the park for 3 hours in the 13 acre park with wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, and garbage bags in hand helping the park to shine its brightest for the neighboring communities.
