Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In Worcester Collision: Police
The 31-year-old motorcyclist was hit by a car, whose driver left the scene, police said.
WORCESTER, MA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in Worcester after a driver hit him, according to police.
The collision happened around 2:30 p.m. along Plantation Street just south of I-290. The driver was making a left turn onto Natural History Road just as the motorcyclist was riding northbound. The driver hit the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control and crash into a guard rail.
The driver, who police said was an elderly man, left the scene, but police caught up to him nearby. Police did not immediately announce any charges connected to the collision.
