Nearly 1,400 Bags Of Heroin Found In Interstate Traffic Stop: MSP
Three men were arrested after police found what they said is likely heroin, cocaine, and cash.

DEERFIELD, MA — Three men from out of state were arrested after a traffic stop of two vehicles on I-91 last week resulted in the recovery of nearly 1,400 wax bags full of heroin, along with other drugs and cash, police said.
State Police said Isiah Surdam, 34, of Newport, Vt., Robert Daniels, 35, of Orleans, Vt., and Eddie Torres, 32, of the Bronx were arrest on drug and traffic violations. Police pulled over the cars they were n shortly after midnight Wednesday for alleged motor vehicle violations.
A search resulted in about 1,398 wax bags of what is believed to be heroin, 41 grams of cocaine, and $1,430 in cash.

Surdam was charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, conspiracy to violate the drug law, marked lanes violation, and failure to signal. His bail was set at $5,000.
Daniels was charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, conspiracy to violate the drug law, marked lanes violation, no registration in possession, and lights violation. He was also cited for following too closely. His bail was set at $5,000.

Torres was charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, and conspiracy to violate the drug law. He was held without bail.
