Nearly 100 Fish Destroyed After Illegal Catch At Coes Reservoir
Environmental police recently caught several people illegally netting several varieties of fish at the Worcester pond.

WORCESTER, MA — Environmental police had to destroy nearly 100 fish that were caught illegally at Coes Reservoir in Worcester, officers are reporting.
According to environmental police, several people were using nets to catch fish at the reservoir. They were stopped as they were leaving, and officers found them with 54 white perch, 52 bluegill, two calico bass and two carp.
The illegal fishermen were charged with fishing without a license, illegal take, netting carp without a license, and failure to produce fishing equipment upon demand.
