New Cocktail Bar Debuts In Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — A new cocktail bar officially opened in Worcester.
La Placita, a Puerto Rican-inspired cocktail bar, opened on Friday at 271 Grafton St. The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony that afternoon
The business brings an island-influenced atmosphere to the neighborhood.
State Sen. Michael Moore attended the opening and described La Placita as an elevated, bright and colorful space serving cocktails inspired by Puerto Rico.
“It was great to come together and officially welcome La Placita to the neighborhood,” the chamber said in a social media post announcing the opening.
