WORCESTER, MA — The company behind a proposed 111-unit apartment complex in the Greendale neighborhood has changed plans for the development.

Worcester-based developer GoVenture Capital Group over the summer filed plans to build two apartment buildings on a triangle-shaped vacant lot at 222 Brooks St., which is across the street from the Showcase Cinema.

On Monday, the Worcester Planning Board will review an amendment to the plans, which now call for a single four-story apartment building with the same number of units. There would also be 203 total parking spaces, with about 91 of them in a garage beneath the building, according to the plans.

The building would contain a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and would be called "Brooks Street Commons," according to the developer's website. The site would also feature a dog park, and the rear of the site that bumps up to businesses along Higgins Street would remain wooded.
