WORCESTER, MA — Two men led Worcester police on a pursuit through neighborhoods around Green Hill Park Saturday evening, and they were later arrested on a variety of charges, police said.

The incident began just before 6 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop along Lincoln Street. Two men ran from police, but an officer later caught up to them along Eastern Avenue in the Bell Hill neighborhood.

The men ran again, and began cutting through backyards around the south side of the park, police said. Officers arrested Nathan Russell and Omar Molina along Blodgett Place off of Catharine Street. Police also found two handguns in the area that they said belonged to Molina and Russell.

Molina and Russell were arrested on weapons charges, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, police said.
