Pepe's In Worcester Reopens In New Shrewsbury Street Spot

WORCESTER, MA — A reliable Worcester Italian restaurant is back after a more than month-long hiatus due to a change in location.

Pepe's Italian Restaurant opened its new location along Shrewsbury Street on Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was missing from the local dining scene since Oct. 2 as the owners moved from the former location along Franklin Street near Grafton Street.

The new Pepe's is located at 179 Shrewsbury St., right between some of Worcester's best known dining spots, including La Scala, Piccolo's and the Boulevard Diner.

"When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, it's a ... Pepe's" the restaurant said in a Facebook post this week announcing the reopening.
