Person Taken To Hospital After Worcester House Fire
The fire broke out Friday morning along Oakmont Road, according to firefighters.
WORCESTER, MA — One person was hurt Friday morning with a fire broke out in a Burncoat-area home, according to the fire department.
The fire broke out at around 8 a.m. at a home along Oakmont Road near the West Boylston line. Firefighters encountered heavy flames when they arrived, but were able to get the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.
One person who was in the home was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The home was badly damaged, according to firefighters.
