Police Chase In Worcester Ends With Two Charged Over Gun, Pot
The chase began along Chandler Street after police saw a man blow through several stop signs.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police arrested and charged two men on Wednesday following a car and foot chase in the Piedmont area.
The incident began when police tried to pull over a driver along Chandler Street who police said ran several stop signs. When a Worcester officer approached the driver, he drove off and then crashed into a car parked along Queen Street.
Police chased the driver and the passenger on foot up Piedmont Street toward Pleasant Street. The driver gave up the chase along Hawley Street near Pleasant Street.
The 23-year-old Euclid Avenue resident was charged with gun law violations, plus disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to stop for police and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The passenger, a 22-year-old Belmont Street resident, was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and resisting arrest.
