Police ID Woman Killed Crossing Mass Pike

The 27-year-old was crossing the Mass Pike in Millbury late Friday night after she was involved in a single-car crash.

MILLBURY, MA — State police have identified the 27-year-old woman who died while crossing the Mass Pike on Friday night as Kimberly Hannon of Douglas.

According to state police, Hannon was involved in a single-vehicle crash at around 11 p.m. just before she died. She got out of her car and attempted to cross the westbound side of the highway. She was hit by a 54-year-old Oxford man driving a Ford sedan near mile marker 95.

Police are still investigating the crash and have not made any arrests or issued fines in connection to the incident.

Hannon worked as a musician and piano teacher in Rhode Island and the Worcester area, according to social media.
