Woman Flags Down Vehicle After Sexual Assault, Man Arrested: MSP
A woman who flagged down a passing tractor-trailer told police she was sexually assaulted near the Mass. Pike this morning.
PALMER, MA — An arrest has been made after a 38-year-old woman was sexually assaulted early Wednesday morning by the Mass Pike, police said.
Police said the victim ran out of the woods near the Pike at the Palmer-Brimfield line and flagged down a tractor-trailer. She told police she was sexually assaulted and strangled inside a camping trailer.
An investigation led police to a trailer that LeeMichael Collins, 25, was in. Collins was arrested and will be arraigned at Palmer District Court Wednesday afternoon.
