Webster Carjacking Suspect In Custody
Police have a suspect in custody who led them on an overnight chase that involved a crash and carjacking.

State police have a suspect in custody for the carjacking incident that happened in Webster around midnight on Thursday. What started as a motor vehicle stop became a police chase through several communities.
The driver, who has been identified as Donald Foy, was in a Dodge pickup with two passengers in the car when he sped off from the traffic stop. The truck tried to lose police by driving northbound on Interstate 395 at Exit 3 but Massachusetts State Police hopped onto the pursuit. State troopers were able to use stop sticks against the truck to damage the tires but the driver continued on.
It wasn't until the truck went up the ramp to Route 290 eastbound, driving in the wrong direction, that it crashed on the highway. The driver then got out of his car, threatened the driver of a Buick Enclave, stole the car and took off.
The two passengers in the original car with the suspect stayed at the scene and were questioned by police. Troopers worked through the day Thursday to track Foy, which led them on yet another chase.
The chase ended with Foy running on foot up to a rooftop where police were able to arrest him. Foy will be brought to the Worcester District Court today for arraignment.
