Police Pull Over Overflowing Pickup On MA Interstate

The phrase "What were you thinking?" comes to mind.

SPRINGFIELD, MA — Motorists can be cited under Chapter 85 section 36 of Mass. General Law for driving with an "unsecured/uncovered load." State Police had to find something to cite this driver for, and apparently "duh!" isn't a law.

A trooper pulled over a pickup truck overflowing with tables and stands and chairs, barely held together by a couple of restraints, on I-91 in Springfield Wednesday.

'Please remember, when traveling with a load in a vehicle, take a look at it and before taking to the roads, ask yourself, 'What could go wrong?,''" police wrote on Facebook.
