Police Search For Man Who Shot Woman In The Leg, Fled
The victim said she did not know her assailant.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are still searching for a man who allegedly fired shots at a woman on Country Club Boulevard Sunday afternoon, and then took off on foot.
On Sunday, May 7, around 2 p.m., police were dispatched to 102 Country Club Blvd for reported gun shots, with callers saying they heard what sounded like two shots, followed by three. A woman inside the building flagged down officers, at which time she brought them to the apartment where a 21-year-old female lay on the ground with a gunshot wound to her leg.
The victim said that she was with two friends outside the building when a male approached them and began firing a gun at them. She said she did not recognize the suspect, and she described him as a black male with dreadlocks. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Witnesses stated that the suspect fled by vehicle. Officers found shell casings and other physical evidence related to the shooting. Detectives are currently investigating and no charges have been taken out.
