Police Seek 2 Men Who Robbed Cab Driver At Gunpoint
A cab driver was robbed late Monday night in Worcester.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are looking for two men they say robbed a cab driver at gunpoint.
On Monday, June 19, around 12:15 a.m., Worcester Police responded to the area pf 57 Chatham St. for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred.
Upon the officers arrival they met with the 40-year-old male victim.
According to the 40-year-old victim, who drives for Red Cab, he was dispatched to 57 Chatham St. to pick up a fare. He pulled up and saw two men sitting outside of the address. Both approached the cab.
The first suspect, a white male, went to the passenger side, and the other suspect, a black male, approached the driver. The black male pulled out a hand gun and pointed it at the victim and demanded cash. The cab driver handed over some money, and the suspects ran with it, headed south on Oxford Street toward Chandler Street, said police.
The first suspect is described as a white male, thin, late 20s, wearing dark pants with a possible bruise on his right eye. Suspect number two was described as a black male, wearing light colored pants and a dark shirt.
The victim was unhurt during this incident.
WPD detectives are currently working this case. Although the descriptions of the suspects are limited, investigators are trying to obtain their identities by canvassing the neighborhood and seeking out potential security camera footage.
