Police Seek Suspects in Weekend Stabbing
Victims were uncooperative, leaving police struggling to investigate the early morning stabbing.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are looking for suspects in a stabbing after an incident where victims were reportedly uncooperative.
On Friday, Nov. 4, at approximately 2:05 a.m., Worcester police responded to 31 Queen St. for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. When they arrived, they spotted a 28-year-old man near the front of the address suffering from a stab wound to the right chest. Police found out that the man had been trying to get inside the building by pulling and kicking the front doors. The victim was lying on the ground shirtless when officers arrived, holding his shirt against his wound.
Conscious and alert, the victim was with another man, 27 years old. Both were uncooperative, say police. The only information that the officers received was that the two men were jumped by five males on Chandler Street. The two did not provide descriptions of the suspects when asked.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the injury did not appear to be life threatening, said police.
WPD Detectives and members of the Crime Scene Unit arrived at the location. It appeared that the stabbing took place in the area of Jaques Avenue by Dudley Place.
