Popular TV Show Filming In Worcester Again: What To Know
Multiple roads will be closed this week.
WORCESTER, MA — The Walking Dead: Dead City is back in Worcester this week to film some more scenes.
Police said that multiple roads will be closed this week as filming continues:
- Franklin Street from Portland Street to Main Street - closed from 6 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29-30
- Federal Street - closed from 6 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29-30
- Mechanic Street - closed from 1 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 29
The popular television show, which is filming its third season, previously filmed in the city in late September. Parts of Worcester were transformed into a mini-apocalyptic replica of New York City.
However, filming this fall was not the first time the AMC zombie show recorded a season in Worcester. The Walking Dead spinoff filmed scenes for its second season in the city in 2024.
