Pride Worcester 2022: Main Festival Is Saturday Downtown

Head to downtown Worcester Saturday for performances, art and more at the LGBTQ+ Pride festival.

WORCESTER, MA — The main event of Worcester's September celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride will happen today with a festival in the downtown area.

Worcester Pride events have been happening almost every day so far in September, but the Saturday Pride Festival will be the biggest, featuring music and performances, food and art exhibits. The event runs 2 to 7 p.m. along Franklin Street near City Hall.

Worcester police are also reminding drivers of street closures due to the festival:

  • Franklin Street from Church to Main Street closed from noon to 8 p.m.
  • Portland Street from Federal to Franklin Street closed noon to 8 p.m.

  • Sept. 10, 2 p.m. — Pride Worcester Festival in downtown Worcester
  • Sept. 10 — MB Lounge Block Party
  • Sept. 10, 7 p.m. — Comedy is a Drag at One Eyed Jack's, followed by Deity at 8 p.m.
  • Sept. 11, 10 a.m. — Pride Sunday service at First Baptist Church
  • Sept. 11, 11 a.m. — Wormtown Drag and Comedy Brunch at Wormtown Brewery
  • Sept. 11, 4 p.m. — Tea dance brunch at the Woo Bar & Grill
