Shooter Threat at Quinsigamond Community College Evacuates Locations

The community, for the second day in a row, has received an alert to clear the college grounds. Classes are canceled at all QCC locations.

WORCESTER, MA — For the second day in a row, Quinsigamond Community College is closed, this time due to a "shooter threat on the main campus."

Shortly before 9 a.m., officials issued an alert to students and staff to "Please leave the W. Boylston St main campus in an orderly fashion at this time. The college is closed until further notice."

Around 10:15 a.m., officials sent out a second alert that reads, "Due to a shooter threat on the main campus, WB Street, all day classes at all QCC locations are cancelled."

QCC's main campus is located at 670 West Boylston St. in Worcester, and there is a campus in Southbridge. Find a full list of locations here.

The college was closed on Wednesday due to a bomb threat.
