This year’s event will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the YouthGROW Farm, nestled in the heart of Worcester’s Main South neighborhood.

With over 50 years of commitment to Worcester residents, the REC believes that a vibrant, thriving community is one in which everyone has access to healthy and affordable food. As champions of food justice in Worcester County for the past two decades, the REC is dedicated to creating a just local food system where access to healthy food is recognized as a fundamental human right.

Event Highlights include:

  • Live Music: Enjoy soulful performances by Worcester-based jazz and blues musicians Charles Ketter and Dan Hunt, known as The Plectrum Club.
  • Farm-to-Table Dishes: Savor food prepared by Peppercorn’s Grille and Tavern, featuring freshly grown ingredients from the YouthGROW farm.
  • Raffle: Participate in our raffle for a chance to win garden accessories, gift cards to local area restaurants, and more!

  • The YouthGROW employment and leadership development program for Worcester teens, centered around three urban farm campuses in Worcester’s Main South and Bell Hill neighborhoods, and at the Woo Sox Farms at Polar Park.
