$5 Pizza Man Stick-Up Gets 2+ Years In Slammer

The man allegedly pointed a BB gun at the delivery man's head and demanded cash. He got $5.

NORTHAMPTON, MA—In the category of "was it really worth it?," a Belchertown man who persecutors said robbed $5 dollars from a pizza delivery guy got two-and-a-half years in the slammer for it, according to multiple reports.

Aaron Dakota Fogg, 20, was sentenced on Wednesday after pleading guilty to larceny and assault with a dangerous weapon, reports WHDH News. The Daily Hampshire Gazette reports that Belchertown police got the call of the robbery on June 6 around 9:30 p.m., responding to a Pizza Hut delivery driver who said he was making a delivery on Lake Drive when the incident occurred.

The driver got out of the car and walked toward Fogg, thinking he was the person who ordered the pizza, but Fogg reportedly asked him for change for a $20. Fogg then pointed a firearm at the driver's head and demanded his cash, took the $5 he had, and left, the paper reports. He was arrested two days later.

Police arrested Fogg after his brother came to the station to tell them that Fogg lived in his apartment and had disappeared for a time the night of the incident, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette. He reportedly came back to the apartment masked and yelled "only five f------- dollars."

Fogg pleaded not guilty. He was deemed dangerous and denied bail.
