Run4Veterans Couch to 5k Fitness Program to Be Held in Worcester

WORCESTER, MA—Get off the couch and start running with the veterans.
Veterans Inc. is hosting a Sunday morning fitness class aimed to improve health and wellness of participants in The Run 4 Veterans 5k. The class is free for all signed up to participate in the Veterans Inc. Run 4 Veterans 5k and will be led by Nicole Shattuck Powers, owner of Committed Fitness of Worcester. Sessions are approximately one hour and Shattuck addresses various training issues and help attendees to get ready for a 5k and improve their general fitness wellbeing while having fun.
The training takes place from 8-8:45 a.m. Sept. 17 through Oct. 29. at Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Veterans Inc.
