Saint Vincent Hospital Holds Pink & Peal Campaign

Saint Vincent Hospital is proud to be hosting its first Pink & Pearl Event on October 19 and 26 from 9:00am – 12:00pm in the hospital’s Atrium. The event hopes to increase awareness and early detection of two very important cancers-breast cancer and lung cancer.

During the event, specialists will be available to provide information on the two cancers and register individuals for mammograms and/or low-dose lung cancer screenings. The Pink & Pearl Campaign combines the pink ribbon, a recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness, with the pearl (white) ribbon, representing lung cancer awareness.

The campaign’s goal is to bring awareness to importance of early of screening options for breast and lung cancer throughout Greater Worcester. The public is invited to the event and sign up for either screening. To support the cause, wear pink and/or pearls to bring awareness to this campaign.
