Saint Vincent Hospital’s Charlene Elie, RN, Inducted into Tenet Heroes

Saint Vincent Hospital recently announced that Charlene Elie, RN, Administrative Supervisor/Bed Manager, has been honored by Tenet Healthcare as part of its annual recognition program. Charlene has been named a Tenet Hero, with the additional honor of being inducted into the Tenet Heroes’ Hall of Fame.

The Tenet Heroes program celebrates those individuals who make a meaningful impact within their communities that goes above and beyond their daily responsibilities. Nominated by leadership and/or fellow colleagues, Tenet Heroes exemplify the company’s core values and commitment to its mission.

Each year, a select few are inducted into the Tenet Heroes’ Hall of Fame, the Company’s most prestigious honor for employees. This year, 22 individuals or teams were named to the Hall of Fame, including Charlene.

Charlene was recognized as a Tenet Hero and Hall of Fame winner for exemplifying qualities such as compassion, warmth, innovative thinking, teamwork and resilience. Charlene has a tremendous wealth knowledge, having worn many hats in healthcare including a former CNO (Chief Nursing Officer). She is always willing to help when and wherever support is needed. Charlene is described by her colleagues as a humble, kind, compassionate and always willing to give a helping hand with a positive attitude. During challenging times, she helped implement new processes to ensure that no patient was overlooked and volunteered to come in on her days off leading the team with calmness, skill and high reliability.
