The new, easily accessible center will serve as the main hub for the behavioral health clinical operations of YOU, Inc., Children’s Friend, and Family Services of Central Massachusetts, three Seven Hills affiliates with longtime roots in Greater Worcester. It is equipped to offer diversified and integrated in-person and telehealth visits to support children, adolescents and their families with behavioral health needs. The clinic will also draw on the longstanding expertise of Seven Hills Behavioral Health, an affiliate that provides extensive community public health and substance abuse services in Southeastern Massachusetts.
"By coalescing the work of three amazing affiliates and bringing together over 100 of the best clinicians we can find, we intend to have no wrong door here at Seven Hills Behavioral Health," said Seven Hill Foundation CEO Dr. Kathleen M. Jordan. "This building — and the new resources and telehealth capabilities it offers Greater Worcester — is a physical representation of our intention to continue to expand access and services to support people who need our help and care."

A grand opening event at the 25,000 square-foot center featured remarks from Worcester City Manager Ed Augustus. Community members and officials, including State Senator Anne M. Gobi, State Representative Kimberly N. Ferguson, State Representative Hannah Kane, and Worcester City Councilor Matt Wally had the opportunity to tour the new center and meet with Seven Hills leadership and clinical staff to discuss the importance of behavioral health services for children and families across the region.
"Seven Hills continues to be an essential partner to our work here in the City and beyond," said City Manager Augustus. "They continue to respond where there is a need — and today is a crucial example of their willingness to take on big projects that help people in need."
The new center features a centralized intake and combined electronic medical records system to support the wide range of clinical programs and the multifaceted needs of children, families and adults. Technology is embedded throughout the center to support Seven Hills 2.0, a care design that allows clinicians, healthcare providers, nurses and doctors to connect directly with patients wherever and whenever needed, and its new “Open Access” model, which will allow people who need an immediate assessment to gain access to care without sitting on a waiting list while in crisis. Additionally, an array of Seven Hills programs operated by the affiliates, including home-based therapy, foster care and other community-based programs, will also be housed in the building.
