Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Central Worcester County
The thunderstorm warning remains in effect, a storm that could bring hail and high winds.
WORCESTER COUNTY, MA—A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect through 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday for Central Worcester County.
At 3:49 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was located over East Brookfield, 11 miles west of Worcester, and moving northeast at 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service. The storm could produce winds up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail. Expect damage to trees and power lines, and possible damage to vehicles.
Locations impacted include: Worcester, Leominster, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, Hudson, Westborough, Holden, Auburn, Northborough, Clinton, Charlton, Spencer, Leicester,
Southborough, Sturbridge, Lancaster, Rutland, Sterling, West Boylston and Warren.
