WORCESTER, MA — A man was injured Thursday afternoon in Worcester's third serious shooting this week. Police responded to a report of a shooting along Mt. Pleasant Street in the Main South area just before 5 p.m. Thursday. The man was conscious when he was taken to the hospital, but police did not say what his condition was. Police arrested Jose Merced, 33, of Eames Avenue.
