WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police responded to an injury shooting early Thursday morning along Southbridge Street. Worcester police received an alert about a shooting around 12:30 a.m. Thursday and later found a wounded man in a parking lot near Hurricane Betty's. "Officers rendered medical aid until Worcester EMS arrived on scene and transported him to the hospital. The victim appeared to be suffering from non-life threatening injuries," police said in a news release.Police did not immediately announce any arrests related the incident. Worcester police arrested <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/worcester/worcester-shooting-dorchester-street-man-20-charged" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a 20-year-old man this week</a> following a shooting early Easter morning in the Union Hill area.
