Shrewsbury Woman Arrested in Worcester Bank Robbery

A woman allegedly passed a note to a teller that demanded cash.

WORCESTER, MA—A Shrewsbury woman is facing charges of unarmed robbery after allegedly giving a bank teller a note demanding money at a bank on West Boylston Street.

On Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 around 4:50 p.m. Worcester police responded to 910 West Boylston St. (Leominster Credit Union) for a report of an unarmed robbery in progress. A bank teller gave police a detailed description of a female suspect, who the teller said approached the counter and handed over a note that demanded money. The teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect took off on foot toward East Mountain Street.

Officers in the vicinity of Henchmen Street spotted a vehicle parked on the street facing the wrong way. There were two females in the vehicle, the operator matchin the description of the suspect. The female was identified as 36 year old Regina Flynn of Shrewsbury. Officers recovered the stolen money inside the vehicle.

Regina Flynn, 36, Shrewsbury Green Drive, Shrewsbury, was charged with Unarmed Robbery.
