Six-Vehicle Pile-Up On Mass Pike In Auburn
Auburn Fire Department says it was lucky there was only one minor injury.
AUBURN, MA- Auburn fire crews responded to a six-vehicle accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound Thursday at 7:52 a.m. in Charlton, three tractor-trailers were involved.
The department tweeted there was only one minor injury but cautioned commuters to avoid the area if possible as they worked to clear the road.
State police were on the scene as well and said one of the drivers of a tractor-trailer was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester.
All lanes opened to traffic around 11:45 a.m. The cause of the crash is unknown.
