Small Plane Crash Lands In Leicester Field With 3 Onboard
Three people and a dog were carried off a single-engine plane on Tuesday evening.
LEICESTER, MA — Three people and a dog were rescued Tuesday night after a small plane crashed in a Leicester field.
The small single-engine Piper plane crash-landed along Moosehill Road, according to the Spencer Fire Department. Two of the passengers were carried from the scene and a third was able to walk away.
According to CBS Boston, two snowmobilers in the area helped firefighters reach the wreckage and carry equipment to the scene. The firefighters faced a long trek in fresh foot-deep snow to reach the plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration responded to the scene and was investigating the cause.
