UXBRIDGE, MA — A man somehow escaped what looked like a Fast & Furious stunt gone wrong with only minor injuries after his car went airborne, lost braking and crashed under a tractor trailer. The Uxbridge Fire Department said crews responded to a crash on Route 146 Tuesday afternoon. It arrived to find the man's silver sedan stuck under a tractor trailer; the man escaped out the driver's side door. He apparently hit an object while driving north and went airborne; when his car landed, it lost braking power.

The vehicle cut over a grassy area and into the northbound onramp, "sliding completely under this trailer and just about out the other side," the fire department said on Facebook.

"The operator was transported to the hospital, and we are pleased (and amazed) to say, is recovering from only minor injuries," the fire department said.
