Stabbing Of Worcester Bus Driver Draws Large Police Response

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon near the Lincoln Plaza shopping center.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester and state police were on scene at Lincoln Plaza Wednesday afternoon searching for a person who apparently stabbed a Worcester Regional Transit Authority driver, according to reports.

The stabbing happened just before 3 p.m. near the Target side of Lincoln Plaza. The attacker ran from the bus, drawing helicopters and many police to the scene.

The bus driver had non-life threatening injuries, CBS Boston reported.
