State Police Rescue Injured Hawk On Worcester Highway
VIDEO: Massachusetts State Police troopers rescued an injured hawk from Route 290 in Worcester and brought it to Tufts Veterinary Hospital.

WORCESTER, MA — A pair of Massachusetts State troopers came to the aid of a hawk stranded along the side of the highway in Worcester on Friday.
State Police said the Troopers Daniel Devine and Christian Paluk, based out the Holden barracks, responded to the report of a wounded hawk on Route 290 eastbound Friday morning. They used a rain jacket to corral the little fella and then turned him over to Massachusetts Environmental Police.
The hawk was then taken to Tufts Veterinary Hospital for treatment.
