Stolen Marlborough DPW Truck Found In Worcester
Police arrested a 19-year-old man, who left the truck sitting on one of Worcester's busiest streets.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police found a stolen Marlborough Department of Public Works truck sitting in the middle of one of the city's busiest streets early Tuesday morning, and later arrested a 19-year-old man.
The stolen truck was found parked in the middle of Major Taylor Boulevard around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Police found John Paquin, 19, on the nearby campus of St. Vincent Hospital, and officers took him into custody on an outstanding warrant. They later found he "did not have permission to use the DPW truck," and charged him with larceny of a motor vehicle.
This at least the second recent high-profile public works truck theft in the area.
On Oct. 2, state police intercepted a stolen Boston Water and Sewer Commission truck along I-495 in Franklin. The driver led police on a chase south through Rhode Island and back into Massachusetts. The chase ended outside Fall River when police disabled the truck.
