Support Worcester Babies In Need at Baby Shower Event
the Worcester offices of the Dept. of Children & Families have a great need for baby items for the babies they serve.

Project Smile is excited to announce the 3rd Baby Shower for the Worcester Department of Children & Families (Tuesday, May 8, 5:30-7:30pm, Worcester East DCF, 151 West Boylston Drive, Worcester, free parking). This event will collect new baby items for babies receiving care through the Department of Children & Families (DCF). DCF has a great need for new baby items due to the large numbers of babies who are coming into care. The Worcester offices serve over 3,000 children. Previous events have collected over 500 items.
Guests will enjoy a children’s fashion show featuring children modeling the latest looks from LuLaRoe, enjoy special vendors, complimentary appetizers & desserts, live music and a chance to meet some of the dedicated DCF workers. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of new baby items with them. All types of new baby items are needed, in particular, donations of diapers, baby wipes, formula, baby bottles and unisex onesies.
“We are very proud of this event to help the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Catherine Pisacane, Project Smile’s Executive Director. “We hope that many people come out again to support our efforts. There is a tremendous need for these baby items and all donations make a difference.”
The event is presented by Project Smile, the nonprofit organization helping traumatized children and the Worcester East & West DCF Area Advisory Boards. Presenting sponsors are Cornerstone Bank and Tufts Health Plan.
