Suspect Crashes Stolen Truck, Flees On Foot: Worcester Police
A Dudley man is facing numerous charges after allegedly stealing a truck, crashing it, running on foot and hiding under a porch.

WORCESTER, MA —
On Tuesday, Nov. 29, around 1:26 p.m., a Worcester officer spotted a grey Dodge pickup truck in the area Southbridge and Jackson Streets that had no front plate. It also matched the description of a truck that was reported stolen earlier that morning. When the officer turned around to look at the plate, the driver started driving erratically and turned onto Lafayette Street and then Endicott, picking up speed.
The driver refused to pull over for the officer, instead speeding up onto Perry Ave, when the officer lost sight of the truck. Other officers spotted it on Raymond Street near Fifth Ave, and again the driver sped up Raymond Street, turning onto Gediminas Street, losing officers again. Police caught sight of the truck on Vernon Street, when the truck hit a parked car, with the driver (later identified as Wilfredo Crespo-Morales, 30, Dudley) darting from the vehicle and running toward Esther Street.
Crespo-Morales led police on a chase to a porch at a home on Esther Street. Crespo refused to come out from underneath the porch, and tried to run away again. Officers caught up to him and got Crespo to the ground, where he continued to fight the officers. Crespo was tased, and officers said it appeared to have no effect on him.
He is being charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, disturbing the Peace, trespassing, as well as numerous motor vehicle charges.
