WORCESTER, MA — A foundation that has aided locals affected by tragedy is raising money with a T-shirt memorializing three Worcester firefighters who died in the line of duty.

The Woburn-based Greg Hill Foundation will use proceeds from the T-shirt sales for future donations. The shirts feature the names of Lt. Jason Menard, Christopher Roy and Jon Davies, who died while fighting fires in 2019, 2018 and 2011.

When Menard was killed in November 2019 fighting a fire along Stockholm Street, the foundation raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for his family, and helped pay off the firefighter's mortgage.

The foundation has sprung into action for a wide variety of causes recently, including for the Natick couple severely injured in a hit-and-run in August, local restaurants hurt by the coronavirus pandemic and the Bishop Feehan High School hockey player injured in January.

Hill, a WEEI host, started the foundation in 2010 while a host at WAAF. The foundation has raised $8 million for close to 7,000 different causes over the past decade.
