Teen Driver Faces Charges In Worcester Crash That Killed Woman Visiting From Ireland

80-year-old Kathleen Ryder died from injuries sustained during the pedestrian crash.

WORCESTER, MA — A teen is facing vehicular homicide charges after a fatal crash in Worcester in October.

Worcester police said that the now 18-year-old driver, who was 17 at the time, was charged with vehicular homicide. This comes after 80-year-old Kathleen Ryder died from injuries sustained during a pedestrian crash on Oct. 10.

Ryder's husband was also injured. The pair was visiting from Ireland.
