Teen Shot 4 Times In The Leg, Won't Give Police Info

Worcester police are seeking a suspect who shot a man who was walking down a street.

WORCESTER, MA — A teenager shot four times in the leg is being "less than cooperative" with police.

Around 5:30 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 25, Worcester police responded to the area of 26 Freeland St. for a report of a male who had been shot in the leg. They found an 18-year-old inside a nearby address who had been shot three times in the leg. He was brought to the hospital in stable condition.

The teen told officers he had been walking on Freeland Street when he heard gunshots, and realized he had been hit in the leg. He fled to a friend's house, but refused to give police the friend's name. Police said the victim was "less than cooperative" and gave only minimal information, not offering any suspect information or a possible motive for the shooting.

Four spent shell casing were located on the ground in the area of 26 Freeland St.
