Three-Alarm Fire Burns Through Worcester Building

No one was injured.

WORCESTER, MA- Fire crews in Worcester worked to put out a three-alarm fire on Lincoln Street early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out in a building located at 269 Lincoln St., which also houses several businesses. The call came from a person walking by who noticed smoke.

According to WCVB, firefighters found heavy smoke billowing from the chimney and roof vent when they got to the scene and had to force their way into the building. Officials said the fire appears to have started in a bathroom downstairs.

No injuries were reported.
