Three Author Events At The Worcester Library
These events are free and open to the public.

From WPL: The Worcester Public Library has several author events coming soon to the Main Library, 3 Salem Square. These events are free and open to the public.
The first event will welcome author Michael Belanger on Saturday, September 22 at 2 p.m. Belanger will discuss the inspiration for The History of Jane Doe and the process of getting his book published. He will also read selections from the book, and there will be Q & A session and book signing to follow. Belanger is a debut young adult author and high school history teacher. He is a member of the Westport Writers’ Workshop, a faculty advisor to Greenwitch, a high school literary magazine that has published talented young writers–including Truman Capote–for over a hundred years.
The next event will welcome former Worcester Police Chief Gary Gemme to the library on Tuesday, September 26 at 6 p.m. Gemme will be reading from and discussing the process of writing and publishing his debut novel Margaret’s Dove, a love story set on the Cape and Nashville, Tennessee. There will be a Q & A session and book signing to follow.

Finally, the library will host an author panel discussion on Saturday, November 3 at 2 p.m. with four of the authors from Idol Talk: Women Writers on the Teenage Infatuations that Changed Their Lives. Authors Elizabeth Searle, Suzanne Strempek Shea, Caitlin McCarthy, and Lisa Borders will discuss their latest work. There will be a Q & A session and book signing to follow.
