WORCESTER, MA — For once, the WooSox mascot Smiley Ball won't be the only one wearing a costume at Polar Park.

On Halloween this Sunday, the WooSox will open Polar Park for trick-or-treat event. Costumed youngsters will be able to walk around the stadium collecting candy — and autographs from Smiley Ball and the Woofster the WonderDog.

Also on Sunday, the team will pick the winners of the WooSox "Polar Park Pumpkin Patch" contest. Fans can submit decorated pumpkins for the contest up until Halloween.
