Trooper Injured in Shootout With Accused Cop-Killer Released From Hospital

The trooper, part of the Massachusetts State Police Special Tactical Operations Team, was wounded in the shootout that killed Jorge Zambrano, the man accused of killing Officer Ronald Tarentino Sunday during a traffic stop.
The statement says the trooper, whose name is not being released, suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He will continue to recuperate and begin a rehabilitation program.
