Unique Opportunity for Parents to Learn About State of Opioid Epidemic in Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — Parents of Worcester Public Schools students get a unique chance to hear directly from public safety and elected officials about the current state and efforts to combat the opioid epidemic.
An Opioid Awareness Forum is being held on Monday, Jan. 9, from 6-8 p.m., at Worcester Technical High School.
Attendees also get substance abuse and prevention information from treatment experts.
This invitation is from District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr. and The Central MA Opioid Task Force. No registration necessary.

Worcester Police Chief Steven Sargent.
It is moderated by Worcester Public School Safety Director Robert Pezzella, and includes a question and answer period, community resource and information tables.
