A Very Successful Installation of Panatta Sport Fitness Equipment

This past week, I was present at a commercial installation of fitness equipment at Guaranteed Fitness in Spencer, MA. The gym owner, Bruce Derosiers, hired my company to install and setup a series of strength machines from Italian fitness equipment manufacturer Panatta Sport. Panatta Sport offers a wide range of beautifully designed cardio, strength, and flexibility products as well as fitness accessories, flooring, and indoor cycling bikes.

My initial reaction at the installation was very positive. The items arrived via container shipment on solid wooden pallets, expertly packaged and protected for the trip from Italy to Spencer, MA via ocean freight, then local trailer transport. Most of the machines, like the benches, plate loaded machines, and selectorized pieces, were shipped fully assembled and my team merely unwrapped them and placed them in the gym. Some of the plate loaded machines, such as the Power Smith Dual System, required some disassembly to be installed in the gym. The disassembly was easy and after just a few bolts were removed, my team was able to successfully install and then re-assemble the machines. I was really impressed with the packaging of these very heavy duty machines. Not one scratch, ding, dent, or mark was present upon removing the packaging. This ease of installation and expert packaging is such a relief for the gym owner.

After the installation, I spoke with Guaranteed Fitness owner, Bruce Derosiers, about his thoughts on the process, his initial reactions, the installation, and the subsequent feedback from staff and members. Here is an excerpt from our email conversation.

Noel - Bruce, what stood out about Panatta Sport equipment online? Was it the variety of machines? The style and look? The price point?

Bruce - The intelligent design was glaring, like Nautilus was back in the 70's . It just looked ergonomically correct at first glance and Panatta combined that with variety. For example, they have a Circular Chest Press and a Converging Chest Press. Both ergonomically correct, yet completely different to the user, which prevents wear and tear injuries in the long run. Also, every pressing machine has a pre-load lever, which prevents shoulder injuries.

Noel - When the product arrived, were the machines packaged well? How did the shipment pieces arrive in terms of time frame? Did Panatta come through on their expected time of arrival?

Bruce - The equipment arrived packed perfectly and on time.

Noel - After the pieces were unwrapped, how did you feel the quality of Panatta Sport compared to other manufacturers you have dealt with at your gym?

Bruce - The quality of Panatta Sport is far above all the current American Equipment companies. It is heavy, yet compact. The paint is the highest quality powder coat I've ever seen. And, the smoothness of operation is far better than anything I have in my gym .

Noel - Once our installers were finished, and you had a moment to step back and view the items in person, what were your impressions of the Panatta Sport equipment?

Bruce - Wow, did I make a good decision!

Noel - Any feedback from staff or members on the machines from Panatta?

Bruce - Member comments have ranged from "Bad Ass" to "I love the new equipment." Usually, half the members miss the old equipment that is traded out. But, not this time, not a single complaint.

Panatta Sport Fitness Equipment is distributed in the United States by several authorized dealers, including David Gubb of Fusion Fit & Medical. Gubb is the dealer who connected Bruce and Guaranteed Fitness with Panatta Sport equipment to make this very successful installation happen. As an installer, I was really impressed with the packaging and ease of installation of the machines. And the units that needed partial disassembly were re-assembled with little or no effort by my team. The customer and his gym have nothing but positive comments and remarks about the quality of Panatta Sport, the delivery, and installation. It was a very positive experience for Bruce and Guaranteed Fitness with Panatta Sport. And judging by his remarks and reactions, I believe more Panatta Sport Fitness Equipment is just around the corner for Guaranteed Fitness.
