Coronavirus: Wear A Face Mask On Buses, WRTA Advises
Bus riders in the Worcester area are being urged to wear face masks to slow the spread of coronavirus.
WORCESTER, MA — Bus fares have been suspended due to coronavirus, but there's one thing commuters should make sure to have before getting on a bus — a face covering.
On Friday, the Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) released a bulletin asking all riders to wear a face covering while riding buses. The Centers for Disease Control issued similar guidance last week to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Wearing a face covering can prevent asymptomatic people from unknowingly spreading coronavirus to vulnerable people, the CDC has said.
